BioHola! I'm Calliste-Dawn, or Titan of Saturn on ff.net, FictionPress, and ficwad.com (which is actually Titan_of_Saturn). I'm here mainly for the writing and the free, blog-like style of livejournal, which I fell in love with so long ago and am just now getting around to joining. My Journal title "If at first the idea is not absurd, then there is no hope for it" is a quote from Albert Einstein.
I like action, sci-fi, supernatural, fantasy, and intellectual/thriller movies. (I’m also a huge geek for comic book movies like Daredevil, Electra, Fantastic Four, Batman Begins, ect.) I'm generally the same with TV shows, but add the crime category. (I’m in love with CSI: NY and NCIS. And Numb3rs. And L&O: CI. And- well, you get the picture.) I'm athletic, and I love sports, but I also love to write. I write fanfiction, original fiction, short stories, and a lot of poetry. I'm a seventeen year old, hs senior, brunette New Yorker who wears glasses. I don't really have a favorite color, but I like purple and green, and I like to wear green and red. I also don't have a favorite food so much as a favorite food group: fruit.
As I said, I'm athletic and like to exercise, and I love sports even though I'm only good enough at one to play at the varsity level. (That's Softball, by the way.) Given the choice between going out to be athletic and staying in to write, I’d probably pick writing. Unless I had writer’s block or it was a seriously nice day outside.
But enough about me. I'm rambling.
I feel obligated to inform any readers that while I love to write, I get distracted very easily by other ideas or new passions and rarely finish longer stories. I've been attempting to discipline myself and I've decided recently to only post finished or fully planned/plotted work. I will be posting, though, because I write a lot of short stories and one shots. I'm happy to write those and love them, but sometimes I just can't avoid ideas that spawn chapters upon chapters. It would seem that I'm an all or nothing kinda gal when it comes to that – fairly short or ridiculously long.
I'm also more inspiration driven then I probably should be, but I'm working on that too.
